I'm still wearing shorts and it didn't even get above freezing today.

Yeah...shorts but a ~real~ man wears a thong in cold weather. Even I still have my briefs on and haven't had to go to shorts yet.

I bought battery power Christmas lights for the car today.

Yeah....I'm going there.

At least you can pull that off w/ a LBC.

Seems like the right thing to do.

Had mine out, top down New Year's day last year

~My MGB~ hasn't had the top up since August.

Also, I mowed my lawn yesterday with the lawn tractor(probably for the last time in 2011)--and I had the top down on that too. :jester:

Yup.. Mine got mowed last weekend. More to mulch up the leftover leaves than anything else. There wasn't much growth to the grass.
Ahh winter preps... Hopefully this weekend will see both the blowers fixed up and at the ready. I need to replace a leaking expansion plug on the engine of the truck, and fill the cooling system with a good mix of antifreeze, get better tires on both vehicles, dig out the snow shovel, find all our coats, scarves, hats, and gloves, dig out my boots, Get plastic up on the windows.....sigh...

Ben, I don't know how you northern guys deal with that. That's too much work for just one season.

I don't do that much yardwork all year long and I have four acres!

It's jsut too cold to go out there and do all that stuff.

about the end of january - 15-20°F is considerd a "HEAT WAVE" round hera'ya

Snowed 12" on Saturday. This morning it is -9F and snowing some more. Yuck!

suppose to getup to 3" here in a land where the town freaks with 1 flake

Tahoe is getting hammered. Haven't measured it, but I would say at least 3 feet over the weekend, and we're getting another 10-18 inches today with a low tonight of -7 F.

I don't care what people say.
Seattle ISN'T suppose to look this way

It's nice to have 4 distinct seasons here in VA. To prove it, I both raked leaves and mowed the grass last weekend.

Ugh. :cryin:
