I am glad I don't Tweet

Not necessarily dumb just an overactive ego without any sense of civility. IMHO

:nopity:

Apparently a lot oF folks of every stripe do foolish stuff. The papers are so full of such stories that it is getting less unusual [though it's still weird]. I thank the stars that my excesses are socially acceptable. My pop told me that if you think somebody has it completely together, you just haven't got to know them well enough. I'm starting to think I know some of these folks well enough now.

I think I just got to know Weiner a bit more than well enough

Seems entirely appropriate for such "politicians" to be uncovered early in their careers, before they can be released upon the masses.

What a dope. :yesnod:

For sinners there's always the hope of forgiveness but stupidity is forever.

The world would be a better place with out the politicians.

When dealing with any type of social networking, or camera in reality, you have to proceed as if someone WILL release or point out anything you do. The minute you forget that, make sure you list of excuses is up to date....

Heard an interview recently where the author speculated that it will be easier for this generation of young people to change their names than for them to erase their internet trail

:iagree: :iagree:

Having said that I'd best guard my words. I am on the www, am I not.

Seriously I never put in print anything that I would want to have to take back later or be embarassed by. My mantra on FB is never say where you will be but do say where you have been.

I heard today he's been offered a job at Oscar Meyer.
They thought he'd be perfect driving one of the company vehicles.

"Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner....."

It ain't early in his "career" (as if politics were a career to aspire to) and he'll likely re-emerge as a "better, more well versed" version... rehabilitated, reformed and forgiven. Then he'll run for and attain the mayorship of NEW YORK CITY!!!

Be very afraid.

So what your saying doc is that he intends to stand-up to the charges?
