Well another summer over with and the last show of the year is tomorrow. I missed taking the TR to SLO but it will be making the trip for the Autum Classic. The TR dosent look much different then last year but the paint is a higher quality and the panel fitment is pretty good. The new trans is a blast. I will update mpre after I get some rest next week.

That is simply stunning!!! Can you do my nerves a favor and move the bike hanging overhead to the other side of the garage??!!

Great job Dan! Really looks superb. I have to echo what you said about having a great and supportive wife! I am so fortunate in having one of those also.

Cheers, Tinkerman

Very nice job...and done in such a quick manner!
You are wise...giving credit to the lady of the house.
Without their support and encouragement along the way
it could be a uphill battle!
Hope the car runs well heading to Morgan Hill show
today. Sorry we will miss it.

That is a sweet ride. My first ride in a Triumph was back in 1962, when a local guy who was in college at the time took me for a ride in his new TR3. I was 11 years old and it was just like yours, but with wire wheels and a red interior. I thought it was great that he let me help adjust the passenger side mirror for him and I could get in without opening the door.

I was hooked!! Even after all of the GM and Ford muscle that I've owned and my own TR6, I still look long and hard at the TR3's at every show.

Well we took second place today. there were 15 TR3's, I lost the center trim cap above the gas tank and did not have all the carpeting in. I need to cut and trim around the roll bar for a good fit. I just ran out of time. The first place car was very nice and desevered to win. The day was a lot of fun and a lot of great British car people. Now to remove the head and install new head gasket the right way. But I will talk about that later. (do not assume that there is no difference to top or bottom (there is)

One last thing. It seems that no matter how hard we try, we are never really DONE with these cars.

Beautiful car and unlike everyone else. I'm not a personal fan of any brownish colors. The exterior to me and it may just be the pic appears quite white in color. I looked at some pics trying to find a silverstone grey car to compare it to.I've seen other greyish 3's and really liked the look but they were more grey than yours. Any way awesome car, very jealous and just in time for your great season for driving!
