Being Triumph less for several years (except for this past April when I flipped a Spitfire) I’m about to cure this by bringing THIS home.

Should run after I fix the no compression issue. This will be my brides daily driver next summer. May or may not be repainted … maybe I’ll just sand the rust and shoot some flat clear on it.

I have two quarts of Viper red leftover from some paintwork I did on my last Peterbilt so…

Right now I’m doing some busy work in my driveway… new axle, wheels and tires on my old trailer ( and rust repair) and doing brakes on the Grand Cherokee.

No rest for the wicked.

Nope ‘62.

It sat in a leaky barn for decades after the engine quit. Hence the rusty shell.

No rust out on the floors or trunk.
I can only find a rust hole in the left rocker panel.

This will be a daily driver not a show car so it will be far from perfect.

Old cars are like women… they don’t have to be perfect to be fun.

"This will be a daily driver not a show car so it will be far from perfect". That sounds like my TR3 that I have been driving for over 20 years. :smile: Great fun to drive down back roads and not worry about stone chips. Rolling restoration is the way to go IMHO. Enjoy the ride.(y)(y)

The best trophies are chips in the paint and bugs on the windshield!!!

I have thought of that.

I was in the traditional hot rod movement for years. I started one of the Midwest’s largest traditional shows in 2009. Lots of patina at that show.
