Paul Rego was holdin' out on spreading this info but I found it and feel it needs wide dissemination.

So, where's the information? All you did was give us a tease!

Hylomar at Harbor Freight.

...I thought it was kinda all there. :smirk:

It's been harder to find lately. Parts places seem not to carry it. I've had a heckofa time finding it locally. Never thought about HF.

Yeah, Permatex bought the rights to make it here and sold it for awhile in basically every auto parts store across the US; which apparently convinced the other importers to quit bothering.

Then Permatex apparently ran afoul of US emissions law (or possibly just some internal "green" directive) and suddenly stopped selling it. I guess HF saw an opening and brought in a shipload of the stuff.

Hey Doc -

Had not seen you around (posting) for a bit. Hope all is well. Someday we need to meet and greet about the days of Warren, OH/Sharon, PA.

Now on to Hylomar. I believe that VALCO bought the rights to the entire Hylomar line. VALCO Cincinnati is about 2.5 miles from where I sit at this moment. It is readily available down here at the non-big box parts stores.

Happy New Year!!!

Been a bit preoccupied hunting a steady income, John. Things are more than "tight" lately here.

Ah, okay, dummy me! HF has Hylomar in stock!

After I saw this post this AM, I went to the new HF up the street and bought 2 tubes.

Good Stuff

Tim
