Hurricane Haiyan help

Thanks for posting Tom. Personally, I like to donate through the Red Cross, but whatever folks do, beware of scammers who always seem to come out during tragedies like this. As terrible as this is, who can forget the storm that killed over half a million people in Bangladesh in 1970. I think that was the reason for George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh.
 
My colleague here in our mechancal engineering department was born in Cebu. Most of his relatives are still back in the Philippines.
He was there earlier in the year and shared photos of smiling faces of his relatives with us. We are donating to the bigger NGOs but still feel pretty helpless.

Here in NJ we lost thousands of homes to Hurricane Sandy. But those homes can be replaced.
The Philippines lost thousands of human beings. It's heartbreaking.....
