quite an assortment of cars - cool!

Jensen Healey. Same car as in 123.

The foreground in 124 is a TVR, and not convertible.

I swear I saw this car race at the Point in the mid to late 70"s

Won't EVEN go here

Isn't 124 a TVR??

123 is a Jensen Healey. 124 is a TVR with a vinyl top.

And the Jensen in the background.

What a great looking Bugeye number 68 is. Wait, what's my wife doing sitting in that car - oh, that's our recently painted primrose yellow Bugeye!!

Larry

Hi Dale - We met Michael at the show, and thanked him for the help he's given us here on the forum over the years. So after the show, fifty miles from Hunt Country, we were having car trouble with the Bugeye, and were pulled over at a gas station in Frederick, MD. I hear someone asking if we need help, turn around, and there's Michael! He's a pretty good guy!

Larry

Sorry you couldn't make the show - I was looking for you.

Thanks for thinking of us, Larry. We'd have been there except for the new twins here on the left coast. I agree with your comment about Michael 100%, always enjoy the chance to be in their presence. He's one reason we try to get to the Turkey Bowl at the point.

Great show it was, Jim. Record number of cars and entrants.

My Midget won "Second in Class", I was tickled pink!

Jim, did you get a photo?

Mark, I got one picture of you. I should have taken one while I was following you as we left. Congratulations on your award.

And happy birthday, Jim!

Thanks Doc. Getting old isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.

You guys should know . . .

. . . that besides being one heckuva nice chap, Jim is also past President and long-time Board member of the Central VA British Car Club. It's a big, significant regional club with many active members, major organizational challenges and excellent car shows.

Jim's a veritable pillar of the British car community around these parts in old Virginia. :yesnod: And he does it all with admirable humility and grace.

Thanks for all your contributions to our hobby, Jim!

Just wait. Give it some time, and then get back to us.
