I pickedup my new Good Parts hubs this morning. They are built so much better than the stock hubs. To say they are a "piece of work" would be an understatement.
I plan to put new bearings and races into my old ones and probably just sell them.
Wanted to get them in today, but SWMBO had other plans for me :hammer:

They do look stout..
You might see if Tom Spadafora would like to buy the old ones as is. Contact TRF. He's their rebuild guy.
If he's interest would you repost with details. I have a few collecting dust.

You know that thought did cross my mind Ken. I won't be doing anything with them for a couple of weeks as my son is getting married and there are tons of "to-do's" on my plate.
After I contact Tom I will let you know. They get $299 for the rebuilt ones and charge $200 for core charge. Wonder if they would pay anywhere near $200?
Will keep you posted.

I wouldn't count on $200. It seems to me that several years ago they were paying around $150 for an engine , $50-75 for a differential and about the same for a transmission.

well, with a title like that, opening this thread was a bit of a disappointment....

Nice hubs I guess......dang

Well, to make you feel better about the title of the thread... if my car were female you could say she has a nice set of hubs

Maybe this will help? This is the famous 'Sabrina' engine developed for the TR3S and TRS Le Mans race cars.

And it's namesake :

Now that's a set of hubs.
Stop it Randall... your making my car feel insecure.

Never seen a picture of the namesake. Um... wow?

Elliot, your parts are still hot. Just in a different way.

OH MY GOD!!

Need to make a quick visit to Mickey after seeing that pic

What I'd like to know, is where do we get these dual choke SUs from that are fitted to the Sabrina engine??
