Hub extension retaining nuts

Does anybody know what socket size fits the hub extension retaining nuts on the right rear wheel of a BT7? I'm replacing my hub extension because the splines were worn to the point of potential failure, and I couldn't find a fit in either standard or Whitworth sockets.

During my rebuild and subsequently, I use any wrench that gives a proper fit. Try metric. I gave up trying to figure this stuff out. I just ignore labels when it comes to using wrenches on the Healey. Sorry, I don't know the size.
 
I assume they are the same as those for a BJ8: 11/16" socket fits mine.
 
Like Steve said above , 11/16th works great on my BN6 !

Hmmm ... maybe I need a new 11/16 socket ... it seemed to have lots of slop.

Hey Stu,
Just happened to be working on my Healey and double checked - 11/16th works
great. I happen to be using a Craftsmen 1/2 drive if that makes any diff.

Go for a 6 pt socket(if you're not already using one). They work better in a lot of areas than the 12 pt ones do.

If it's 11/16, it will work! If you can get a 12pt on it you can get a 6pt on it.
