hub cap removal lever

Yet another problem with Moss. I am the second owner of my '62 Midget, which I purchased in 1964 with 18,000 miles. A tool kit was included with it. In that tool kite there was a tool called a hub cap removal lever. I didn't need it for that use, because my car originally came with the Mercury full wheel disks, and those screwed on to an adapter in each wheel rim. I did find a use for the lever - it was the perfect size to screw the bolts/screws used to attach the side windows. I kept it in the side pocket of the driver's door. Some ****** stole said tool and a cap I had in the side pocket. I have been looking for an exact replacement for years. Big Healeys, MGAs, early Spridgets, Morris Minors, etc. had them in their tool bags. I was looking at tools in Moss under wheels and tires, and found a diagram with tools and there was the tool I have been looking for. It had a part number and everything.
I ordered one with some other items from Moss. The tool I got back (same part #) looked nothing like the one in the picture! It looks like a shoe horn with a crease in the middle, a small hole, and some kind of hook on the end. If I was to use it to pull hub caps it would probably take the paint off the wheel. As to screwing on my side windows the end that I would use is too wide and would probably scrape the aluminum around the screws, not to speak of what the hook on the other end might do. As a "good customer" I informed Moss and they sent me a photo of the tool which I had never seen in their online ordering info and asked if that was what I got. Well, yes, but that was not what I ordered of course. I told them that they misrepresented the part and if I had seen the photo they sent me, I would never have ordered it! It is going back. I am still searching for this tool and I have a couple of part numbers - 31G 957, and 11H1051 (the Moss # is 386-080 which is a bogus tool). If anyone out there knows where I can find this tool, I would greatly appreciate it, and many thanks in advance.

I looked up the two part numbers you provided above.

Does item 5 on the 2nd page of the PDF linked below look like the tool you want?

When I googled the second part number I found the link below which shows a tool that looks like the description you gave for the Moss tool.

If the tool looks like the one in my first link above, and you are not actually using it to lever hub caps off... it looks like something you could duplicate in sheet metal. Of course, if you are trying to recreate an accurate tool kit that is a different situation.

EDIT: You may also want to send/get a picture of the hub cap removal tool from the folks at the web site linked below. Their web site says they have remanufactured the hub cap tool.

EDIT again: If you don't mind international bidding, I found the following two parts on eBay (one in Italy, the other in the U.K.) I found these using a more generic search than part numbers and I also used google with keywords "nave plate tool". Triumph used to refer to some of their cars' hub caps as nave plates.
