my 1970 1275 midget has mis matched carbs, thanks to a dpo. I am looking at a used pair for sale. The seller says the tags are missing but the bodies are AUC1341 and AUC1342 (front and back). I have done some quick searches but cannot find carbs with these numbers. I believe I am looking for AUD 327 / 328. Doess anybody know what these crab numbers are for. The seller says they are from his midget.

I don't have my SU book with me.....

The blue SU book tells every part number/component and year/car interchange....a worthwhile book...so...from memory...

The HS2's that came on Spridgets were tagged AUDxxxF and AUDxxxR. The bodies and other parts all had thier separate numbers.

Getting a matched pair will save you some headaches.....dashpot spring differences, ported spark take off, linkage, and so on.

The later HS2 has the spring loaded valve on the throttle blade (disc) and is not too desirable. I would look for a set of AUD 136, 266, or 328 which were pre valve and fixed needle.
