How's your brakes...

Hey, Bill -

Waiting for a call-back from the vendor. I'm confident they're going to make it right.

In the meantime, an update:

I checked the bolts on the other side, and they were torqued down a bit more than the side that's leaking. So, I tightened the bolts to an equal amount. The amount of seepage was reduced considerably, but there's still a slight trace of fluid after pumping the brakes 15 times or so. At this point, even if I don't get the new caliper in time, I'll trailer the 8 down and drive it when I get there. Too much time in it with New Orleans as a target to miss it!

Drove it around this afternoon - even with the miniscule seepage, the brakes are a HUGE improvement over stock. Can't wait to give it a proper shakedown.
