Howling hood

I switched from the Zenith to the Weber DGEV, and while it runs well, I have a new problem. My hood is rattling like crazy, especially when decelerating. There's just this overwhelming BLAAAT. I've tried adjusting the rubber bumpers on the hood, but it's acting like a giant sounding board. Only thing I can think of is to check for loose motor mounts, since I had to wrestle with the EGR valve to remove it. Any ideas?

Check to see if the air cleaner's hitting the under side of the hood. I had my Weber manifold milled down for clearance on my Bugeye.

I just went out and checked for clearance on my DGV and sure enough, its been rubbing under the bonnet. How much did you have milled off your manifold to gain clearance?

I don't recall, but I just measured the flange at 5/16th" and the screws hold just fine. I also have a KN filter that measures 1 3/4" in height. The domed one I tried was too tall.
