How to sell a LARGE Compressor??

I just bought a trailer that had a system for treating groundwater inside. It is an Ozone system, but the biggest equipment piece is a Kaeser AS 25 T compressor. This is a very large 3 phase unit that will put out 112 cfm of air. I don't need one that large and I have limited 3 phase. So how would you sell this unit. The local Kaeser office does not even have 3 phase at their place of business so I can't have them do a PM on the unit. I know it runs and has limited hours by the seller. Anyone have experience in this type of equipment?

Ebay? A commercial auction house?

yea, I just put it on Ebay, for less than the only other unit the same size. Lets hope it moves, and the buyer knows how to ship something this large.

I'm in the business - albeit much larger still, and not on the sales side. Our equipment sells through re-sellers, although you could try a machine shop tool reseller. I have seen some pretty big units on ebay. You mentioned a local Kaeser office, can they help with selling?

I called the local Kaeser office hoping they could do a PM on the unit and provide a hours certificate. The dumb people moved into a new building that does not have 3 phase electric supply. So they can't operate or service anything that moves through their office. Of course he brought up the technicians can come repair at my place. But I don't have 3 phase either. I will see if I get any bites with a discounted price on ebay and then try another compressor repair/sales place in town that says they service this brand also.
I would love to have one of their smaller 7.5 HP compressors, the noise rating is half of my current unit and it uses much less electricity.

I had time to look up the other equipment on the trailer. Ozone generator, oxygen generator, controller for all the componets, misc other stuff. This trailer cost a lot of money new. I just have to figure out how to sell the equipment so I can end up with the trailer.

Yea, maybe I can get a lot of tickets. Well, I was planning on using the trailer for the club and the show.

Just an FYI to the forum members. Ebay seems to work. I posted the air compressor, not much response, then lowered the price after one week and the emails just started piling up. Now, the unit is sold pending a PM check at a compressor place. Sure wish I could keep it, but I don't have enough power to run it. I will take some of the money and upgrade my compressor. Still a win overall. Now for an important questions. Has anyone replaced the outside panels on a cargo trailer?
