MGB How to sell a 77MGB

My new neighbor wants to sell his 77 MGB and asked about a good way to do it...Yes, I told him about the Forum Classifieds, but I think he is wary of internet ads because of all the spam (his ebay experience) out there. It is a running driver with low mileage and (knowing George) is well fitted but neglected. He is asking $2200 for it, but no response from our local paper's ad, so does anyone know a good way to advertise something like this? Is his price right? I tseems like it to me, but I think he will settle for less now, as it is still at his prior residence. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've had very good luck with eBay. No other venue provides such exposure. I've bought and sold several cars, motorcycles and tons of parts on eBay, never had a bad experience.

The key thing on eBay auctions: don't part with the item until the cash is in your hand. Really, not much else can go wrong as long as you carefully describe the condition of the car, and use good business language in the ad. :yesnod:
