Pulled into the parking spot and lost the clutch - instantly! Opened the hood and the clutch hose had popped off the fitting at the Master Cylinder - Mark had a hose clamp but I didn't need to try to bleed the MC in a parking lot with few tools and rain threatening. Thank goodness for CAA (and the fact that it did start raining so most people had left by then.)

Sorry to hear about your breakdown, JP. Did you get a chance to enjoy the car show at all? I am hoping to be in my first ever car show this summer with the Bugeye. I keep finding things I have overlooked, but I am gradually venturing out further each time.

ended up being a very short show because of the rain - but a lovely drive there. Mark (Abarth69) drove his Double Bubble Zagato and Mrs Abarth drove their Big Healey - it was a lovely convey. Should be ready for Wednesday nite at Applewood.
 
Bummer! At least she looks goo on that truck, though they do always look a bit lost up there.

Always remember ladies and gentlemen....our cars do NOT "break down", they fail to proceed....

Fair dinkum JP. If I didn't know better I'd think that those two are getting along famously. If the truck has pups can I have the "runt of the litter".
 
Update, she's fine again. Pulled the master cylinder rocked and pumped a few times, reinstalled and had a lovely test drive down the Lakeshore. Funny, I have one car that I restored once. MC is not a do it every week type of job but I found myself thinking - "I'm getting good at this." and I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
 
Always nice to be good at repairs.
