How To Detail Your Engine

https://autopia-carcare.com/

Sorry, I got way too excited in lurking. This site has the above article and MORE. Probably old hat to most here, but I JUST FOUND IT!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Have a great weekend to all. Suppose to be mid to upper 70's here and no rain.

(I have no financial interest in any of the products mentioned in these article)

mine marks it's territory.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's a nice site. I wish they had listed comparable protectants/coatings that we could find in the U.S.

Jim 67B and Nunyas,

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif Your comments are proof positive you have an MGB.
Not many autos out there that you worry about if the DO NOT mark their space. Thanks for the chuckles, guys.

dklawson, I do not have any financial interest in the products, but I believe they do have distributors in the USA.

Have a great weekend to all. MGB TOP DOWN FOR ME!!! Cheers!!!

Almost everything discussed in-depth on Autopia and BCC are available in the US. Autoglym products, for example, are all carried by BCC and are available on that site - 303 Aerospace protectant is widely available in the USA at various auto and boat supply stores. Autogeek.net also carries a huge array of stuff. As for a list...you can't really do that effectively; get on their forums and study what people are using, and why. You'll find dozens of people swearing by the most expensive stuff available, then a bunch that swear their bottle of 30 year old turtle-wax is better than anything every made /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the sources. However, I'll pass on Griot's. I hate their catalog and all their stuff seems wildly overpriced.

Doug,

I don't love the "handbook" either (who really needs a Cobra rearend couch) but after detailing my interior this weekend I gotta tell you I love their product.
