Spitfire How to change diff oil on 78 Spit?

Hi all,
I'm resurrecting a 78 Spitfire that spent 11 years sleeping in a barn. I found water in the crankcase AND in the transmission when I drained the fluids. I assume this was from condensation. I suspect that there is also water in the rear end but on this model it appears that there is no drain plug on the diff. I'm looking for suggestions on what to do next. I don't really want to pull the diff out of the car if I don't have do. Maybe I could pump out the stuff that's in there right now. What does the group think?

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gifI just went out and checked mine.(hehe, I have a complete rear end section sitting next to my garage...) Looks like the only way to drain it is through the filler plug, with a pump. The plug is on the driver's side the dif. Hope this helps. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif
