TR2/3/3A How to attach rear seat tabs to anchor the seat back???

The rear seat has three tabs on it. I can guess that the bottom ones must attach to the floor, but where does the middle one at the top attach? And how do you do that attachment? from the front with the seat turned upside down?

Any hints appreciated.

Jerry, not sure if your car is same as my 56, but I was stumped for a while too. I ended up securing the bottom to the brackets and the back rests against the vertical part of the seat bracket as I could not figure out a way to make a permanent connection. I made some brackets at top on each side to secure back and these are out of site under capping. Some pics here:

Can try to find more pics if needed.
Cheers, Mike

Ah, a foil side up man! Just had this discussion on another thread. I hope to complete my interior this weekend, though I've thrown in with the foil side down crowd. Hope mine comes out as nice as yours.
