How to? Attach fiberglass teardrop to metal hood?

Until I find a replacement hood for Frank I want to go ahead and attach the fiberglass teardrop over the hole in Frank's hood.

I've never done this sort of thing before - please give me a little guidance.

This will be so that I can mount a proper air cleaner to the carb - it's just got a stainless steel screen to keep out the big stuff at the moment.
Thanks!

You have two options:
Double sided tape for auto trim or auto trim adhesive.

Many types and brands... I dunno which one is best. Ask the "import tuners"... they seem to stick a bunch of stuff to their cars.

Thanks, this is just temporary so I can run with a good air filter. Until I get something else to put on there.
I'll look into the trim adhesive, that sounds like a good bet.

I've used the 3M trim adhesive for a few things over the years, it sticks well.
