How Sad

The Otis Chandler Collection is being broken up and sold. It was an amazing place. Other than all the incredible cars, there was a large vintage motorcycle collection. One of my favorite things about them was that most were displayed as they were found with dents and dirt all over them from racing or daily use. Each bike told a story as you looked at it. I'm going to the last public viewing of the collection at the end of August.

In my collection of Automobile Quartley, there is a piece from about 20 years ago on Chandler and his collection.
He really was one of the first people to see the value of classic American muscle cars.
