How Rare is the Black/Colorado Red Duotone Color?

Is the black/colorado red exterior color combo a pretty rare original color combination on a big Healey? Also, was it only offered for certain years or was is offered for each of the years? My 100-6 was originally this color combination. So the black exterior with red coves.

Hi Steve, no I do not think it qualifies as rare. My BJ7 which I purchased about a year ago also uses that color scheme A friends Gold Level BJ8 also has that color combination. It is a nice combination and was not overly done like some of the other solid colors.---Keoke

Thanks. I wonder if the British Heritage folks have statistics on colors offered. Or if there are any books that tracked this.

My BT7, which I purchaded new in 1960 had that combination. I have see a number of them at car shows.
