Re: How old is this car?

Not sure what your asking....It's an MGA(1956-1962) I am trying to see if it has disc brakes or drum brakes up front....Look like drums to me, making it a 1500(1956-1959).

Re: How old is this car?

Ok, my turn....What is that white car?

They are drums...

...but, there's not enough left for it to qualify as a "car"!

Re: How old is this car?

ahhh, sure there is....little bondo, some rubbing compound...Then set that baby up on ebay "older restoration"

Re: How old is this car?

BINGO!!!

...nice wheel, tho. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Re: How old is this car?

The driver side rocker looks solid though...

Re: How old is this car?

Yeah..I noticed, same goes for the inner lower front fender....probably was a decent car before it was canibalized.

Re: How old is this car?

What's the big deal? I think it looks nice! For about 25 Gs, you could lift up the oil fill cap and slide another "A" under it! Easy restoration. Cool! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif PJ

Re: How old is this car?

I know who has this car. If you are serious, let me know and I can find out for you or put you in touch with him.

BTW...the charcoal grill will cost extra.

Re: How old is this car?

Just some time and resources, that's all ya need. Get a few of these at the right price and next thing ya know, you're going for a Sunday drive. If it ain't rusted out it's salvageable. Maybe in my next life....

All I can say is that it's a good thing that there's chain link fence keeping that Triumph from getting at it and trying something funny!
