How old is the average Triumph nut on the forum?

67 in October and looking forward to the new 2 1/2 mile road course to be built 5 miles away. Hello Advel!!!!

Wayne

I was 61 in May, almost didn't make it though. A little cardiovascular event last November. Ok for now.

Geez... at 58 I can lower the mean, but not by much.

A problem for our local club is that we're all aging and younger guys tend to be more interested in tarting up Mom's old Civic than driving British cars. A common situation I suppose exacerbated by our community being something of a retirement area & snowbird area so we get a lot of older guys moving their LBCs to the warmer clime.

NOT

Re: How old is the average Triumph nut on the foru

I was born exactly two days after Triumph TR2 production numbers [TS]l[LO] and [TS]2! For those not as immersed in such TRivia, that makes me 54.

But how long has each of you been involved with Triumphs? For me, it's 49 years (dad bought his first in 1958)!

Re: How old is the average Triumph nut on the foru

I've had a Triumph since '68 except for a couple of years when I was between a TR4 and a TR6, and wives.....

All of a sudden being two years older then my 1956 TR3 doesn't seem so bad

Not bein' a 'rumphie owner but "layin' hands" on more'n I could recount, I'll pap in an' say: started the 58th year last Saturday. And can still remember: "Don't trust Anybody over 30!"

*sheesh*

58 here. I'm on my third or forth childhood, can't remember exactly. The memory is the second thing to go!
