TR6 How not to tow a TR6

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]My high school buddy had a Metro, I once came up behind him in a '53 Merc, made contact, then proceeded to push him up to 110 mph. I still wonder how I ever made it to 18, let alone to 62....[/QUOTE]

It's a good thing you weren't driving the Caddy in the song. The Metro guy was at 110 and couldn't figure out how to get it out of 2nd gear.

We're both showing our age Ray!

Probably just another example of these people who "have never been in an accident", not to minimize your situation Tom. These morons would be in scores of accidents if it weren't for the rest of us who know how to drive and watch out for them. My father-in-law caused two last year that I saw, as a terrified passenger in his car and he was totally oblivious to both of them. Both minor and both a case of the other driver being "technically" at fault in that they were too close to the car behind us to escape rear ending them.
Just glad there wasn't a third party involved to really mess you up.
Mike

Beep, beep.....beep, beep.....his horn went beep, beep, beep.....

By the way is that your Metropolitan I see in the background? Wife always wanted one of those and I was going to buy her one in the mid 90's until she asked if the A/C worked on it. THEN she found out the true nature of those little darlins, heh

Cheers, Tinkerman

Good eyes! That is a metropolitan in the background. The mechanic I use when i run out of skill/time works on them frequently.

That takes a lot to post pictures of something
like that.I think that we've all had towing experiances
that you'll laugh at...... at a later time. And don't even
get me started on cellphone drivers.
BTW - I was informed that,according to the CHP,that,
by law,you must have 4 tie down on a trailered vehicle.2
front,& 2 rear.
