How Much

After 5 years of fun I need to part with my 1980 Spitfire.

The only question is how much is it worth, no rust all original except the radio is changed to a Cd player.

Just wondering does anyone know how much I can ask for this car, it has never failed to start and drive.

I hate to sell it but my summer place is a two hour drive and the Spitfire spends most of the summer parked!!! :madder:

According to the Feb. '10 Auto Trader Price Guide, '80 Spitfires are worth:
#1 $11,400
#2 $8,000
#3 $5,130
#4 $2,300
#5 $1,350
#6 $450

Do a search on eBay for completed auctions. That will give you a good idea of what things are really going for, and what people are willing to pay.

Unfortunately, this is a bad time to sell a good car. From what I've noticed, high end cars are not selling, but "project' cars seem to be doing OK as long as they're priced rationally.
