I have converted my '60 Sprite to front discs. I have made no changes to the original master cylinder or rear brakes yet. However, After bleeding, I have very little brake pedal. How much should I have? Would changing master cylinder and rear brake set up improve the situation. The car is not drivable yet. So can't check stopping ability. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Going to a 3/4" MC will make a huge difference id pedal feel. Pedal force is reduced by 33% with the 3/4" bore. Your clutch action will similarly improve. There are a lot of people here who've done the conversion using my master cylinder conversion. Just ask them how they like the difference or search the archives for comments. I can tell you there's been something over 100 done with 100% satisfaction. The rear brake swap will make a less noticeable difference, but that's because they do less of the work. The added bonus however, is the wheel cylinders have less tendency to quit working as they get older.
