I was the Rallymaster for the AHCA-New England Cape Ann Rallye on the north shore of Massachusetts yesterday. The route took us along the coast through Beverly, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Gloucester, Rockport, Essex, Ipswich and Rowley.

"Howard's Flying Dragon" antiques store in Essex generally posts topical messages in their window and were nice enough to help us with a Healey clue:

Essex is know for its shipbuilding history and for the invention of the fried clam and some of the rallyists were spotted stopping for a quick box of clams along the many fried clam shops along "Clam Alley."

Here's some more shots along the way of a beautiful New England summer day:

Nope! I'll be going back with the original matching number engine. Always wanted to do a V8 conversion. I have a couple 215 Buick motors for a MGB V8. Don't see me getting to do one anything soon.

If this was "bookFace" Rick I would have 'liked' your comment about Healey Blue. Not that I am biased or anything!

Rick that is a very good picture of your car and a good looking Healey.:encouragement:
