How long does a SUectomy take???

Good plan... therapy.

I'd rather sawsall.

heh... save that for the HOUSE work.

I told ya it was getting a V8, these things take a bit of time.

Have you ever noticed that most of the people who have sawsalls, shouldn't.

Competent carpenters almost never have the need for such devices & demo (prep) work is usually done w/ a chainsaw.

Sawsalls are the product of a conspiracy between power tool manufactures & tradesmen to make the average homeowner feel like they can "do it themselves"
(usually with disastrous consequences both psychological and financial)

Most of your contractors are under serious time constraints.

A chainsaw is a great tool to use if you want to progress swiftly into the construction phase of a project.

Chainsaws & sawsalls should be in the same isle at Lowe's.
Your average homeowner should not consider either one a construction tool. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

your are correct, they are Definitely Tools Of Mass Destruction. Not to Be used for an SUectomy

Consider the the common claw hammer as an instrument possessing the diametrically opposing forces of yin & yang.

To use the bulbous end for demolition is to destroy it's karma

It is a bad thing to have an internally conflicted hammer......

I wanna get a bumper sticker that says
I (heart) my sawzall!
reeeeeee, reeeeeeeee brahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
good therapy! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh... I dunno... I watched the guys work on the exhaust of my 'B and they sawzalled the pipes off the car before welding in the new stuff... seems ok to me.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

...is there a niche for Dr. Phil to ...err... fill there? Hammer counseling?

I'm gonna go out to th' garage an' have a heart-to-heart with mine now... and pet my SAWZALL, too.

I could be in serious trouble folks ... I own a chainsaw, a sawsall, a skilsaw, a chop saw, a jigsaw, a 10 lb sledge, a 5 lb sledge, a 2 lb sledge, 3 claw hammers and a rubber mallet ... therapy? I don' need no steekin' therapy! HAHAHAhahahahahaha .... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Hey, I've got both a battery operated sawsall & an electric sawsall...what does that make me?

DANGEROUS?

ARMY ??

Doc - I've gotta answer my own question...hehehehe (remembere how Benny Hill would laugh at himself when he mad a great joke? LOL)

"Well equipped!"

I AM envious of the "cordless" one.
I got a genuine Milwalkee sawzall a few years ago... Sent Herself to visit her mom & da' over a Thanksgiving weekend... When she got home after three days ~I had a bar~ where there used to be a *stupid wall*!! Had chopped out the opening, relocated/rewired range, hood, fridge, overhead cabinets... I ~love~ my sawzall! Contrary to some others' opinions (Dave!) here, in the hands of a surgeon they are exquisite tools for "home improvement"... Uh-uuuhhhh-UHHHH!!!
