How has the best engine gasket sets?

While I was waiting for my POR15 to day I made the mistake of getting bored and took the head off my engine...along with the water pump.

So I need to replace the manifold, head and water pump gaskets.

I know there is a lot of differnce between the gaskets, any recommendations on which ones to go with?

Payen - Payen - Payen -Payen

Available anytime at BPNW (sponsoring member of BCF) or Moss or TRF (by request only).

JMHO.....but correct.

EDIT: Photos below.

Actually, don't get me wrong, BPNW is a great outfit and I advise buying from them . It's just that I think APT is suppose to have this killer head gasket. Maybe it's a manifold gasket?

Over the last thirty years I've fitted all sorts of gaskets to about every English car engine made. ~Do~ follow Mr. Rego's subtle recommendation. I've ALWAYS gone back to Payen if available. The "other brands" always seem to add grief. FelPro is the *only* exception.

...just my experience. :smirk:
