How fortunate we are to have this forum

I was just responding to a post from Tinster when it really hit me as to how fortunate we are that Basil allows us to use his server and brain child to receive and distribute help to one another. Imagine trying to accomplish what many have without digital cameras, the internet and more importantly a man who allows us, or rather demands that we do it for free.

My heartfelt thanks and respect to you Basil and to all of your volunteer moderators. And thanks to all who have come to my rescue as well.

I would GLADLY pay membership to a great forum like this if it ever needs to happen as I'm sure many of my fellow LBC friends would also.

Basil, I don't mean to offend you and I didn't start this post with that thought in mind, but it follows a natural thought process when you consider what we all get out of this little slice of heaven.

Amen, and halleluiah!

Well said!

I haven't been on much recently (today was an exception) but I completely agree. This site must be a Godsend for those not affliated with a club, or out in the sticks somewhere. The wonders of the internet, and those folks who exploit its virtues, like this forum. Thanks.

Heck... we get together at our club and what's the first thing that we talk about???? What's been going on at the BCF... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It's like hanging out in a garage with a bunch of LBC nuts every day. Can't beat it at any price.

Thanks Baz!

Canyon Lake - out near Riverside? Are you with SCTOA?

Would you hush, Paul. Don't give him any ideas!

(Oh, by the way, you should be getting the alternator today. Seems my shipping girl set it slow-brown-truck-to-China)

Bill

Bill, he's already fought us and won on that point, but I know you'd be right with me on that issue.

Thanks for the update. I look forward to getting it via "Brown Snail"

I agree with this comment and TR6 Bills earlier comments (several month ago) about this site; this site is a HEALTHY habit.

This is probably the best LBC car site I have ever come accross, I am sad it took me so long to find it.

I agree. Isn't it wonderful to see a bunch of old codgers embracing technology? So why don't they use synthetic oil?

Yeah, Out near Riverside - I was in SCTOA and switched to the TRSC. Bob Muzio is on the forum here and is President of the TRSC now.

Apart from him it's a good bunch of people /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Did you use to live out here?

Who are you calling an old codger? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm sure it's a term of endearment . And it probably fits over half of the gentry here at any time. Which, by the way, ain't all bad. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm reeling after being castigated on another thread.
Thank you Paul. You are correct. (I too have my AARP card in my wallet)

Best on the internet. This includes not only the officials of the site, but all the members who have given me so much help.
Thanks to you all.
