I have tried recording my Triumph so I can post the .wav file here. So far I have used my cellphone but the results are not all that good.

I think it would make an interesting thread.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a recording device/method that would be easy to post?

.wav file? cellphone? I'm trying to figure out how to get my Triumph close enough so that the megaphone can transfer the sound to the wax cylinder on my Edison machine....(amazingly, both that machine and my Triumph can be hand-cranked!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

I'm there, Andy! Though I'd love for y'all to hear the TR8 I'm finishing up - sweet!

According to Yahoo, its 2836 miles from Fresno CA to Columbia MD, with 40 Hours 30 Minutes of drive time.

If I leave now, I'll be there around midnight Friday night.

But then, that doesn't account for coffee stops and potty breaks...

I made a casette recording of my TR6 that I transferred to a digital recording into a wav. format with my anolog cd burner, that being said, It can be uploaded into a photobucket file & pasted into the BCF.

I'll put it here when I get a chance /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

I have a .wav file of a built TR6, but I can't figure out how to attach it here. I'll put it up if somebody can walk me through how to do it. I tried to post it to photobucket as a video, but it's only a sound file, so they won't take it. Oh well. Trust me though...this one's worth listening to!

cool. Whats the name of the band that is playing in the background. Where in CT are you? I live near Poughkeepsie,NY which is close to the CT border. I used to live in New London many years ago when I worked at the Electric Boat shipyard. Too bad I didn't have my TR6 back tehn. Lots of nice roads for crusing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Folks,

This is Exactly the Reason Why I added the ChatterBox to AAW ! Read my post @ https://advanceautowire.blogspot.com/2006/09/we-added-chatter-box-4-u.html

Most people have or have access to a Modern Laptop that comes with a Mic & Speakers-- with a couple more accessories you would be to Broadcast from your Shop to Others.

****** This would be an Invalable Tool for Diagnotics ******
You could See & Hear the Patient in the Garage--- from any Garage around the World ;-)

Take Tinster (Dale) as an Example:

Dale has Next to Nobody on the Island to Help him with his Resoration Project-- No Comparisons & Onsite Eyes, Ears, & Hands.

Imagine if we could have Virtual Onsite Eyes & Ears to Remote locations such as Dale's and Wyoming?

If anybody is Interested in Pursuing this Opportunity, contact me and I would be Happy to Work out the Bugs with Them ;-)

Cheers!
M

FWIW,
I swung around a sweeping corner in the neighborhood, downshifting from third to second gear and my 24 year old son was sitting at the Stop sign.
When he returned home he said, " Man your car sounds really good!"
I'll take that as a compliment.
