How do you static time a 948?

Find the timing mark on the crank pulley-
Put a chalk mark on the timing mark-
Look under the car and align that chalk mark with the biggest pointer of the 3 down there-
Take off the distributor cap and loosen that 7/16 clamp bolt that is about 1 1/4" long-
turn the distributor clockwise until the points "just" open (it is easier to tell this if you have a test light hooked to the small wire on the side of the dist- when the light lights up then the points have opened)(this is with ignition "on")-
Now tighten that bolt and start the engine.
This will get you "close-enough" to start the car, you will want to do a future timing when the car is running and warmed-up some.

I am working on oil pressure and fixing the water valve, then I will give it a shot. How were you able to save the YouTube video? Thanks to both of you for your help.
