How do you put a picture in a post. Not like an attachment but as I see in a couple of the posts.. Is it basic html with the path to the image or img src...

Thanks

Roy, do you have a cable that fits from your digital camera to a USB port?

Roy, when you start a post there is a "insert image" button about the text box, click that and copy the URL for the pic into the box that pops up.(you have to have the pic hosted somewhere on the web to do this)

Bill, how bout an example pic of a side shot of your car with that gold striping /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif (I am thinking of doing mine like that)

I put photos into a saved file from my digital camera or scanner onto my computer. I upload those photos from my computer to photobucket and then copy the IMG line of the photo I want from photobucket and paste it in the message body here. Requires both BCF and Photobucket windows to be open at the same time. It's free and photobucket can be found at the link below. In addition to learning about Triumph cars I actually learned how to do the picture posting thing here as well. I'm still working on the video though.

Roy, you will have to have the following after the "image" is selected from the options on the right side of the posting page:

image https://s90.photobucket.com/your pic location/ picture #/ and or description image

After you post the path of where the image is and hit enter, the second image command is inserted for you and you can preview your work.

Thanks Guys... I'm going to give it a try... If I fail I'm going to call my granddaughter!

After you get your account set up with photobucket and a photo uploaded to it we could probably talk you through it. Then you can show your Granddaughter how it's done!
