How do these riders keep up with the twists and turns of the track. It is too long a course to memorize it.

They open the course to the public on Mad Sunday. Not everyone gets back.

Video makes it seem faster - and given that the next youtube video is Isle of Mann accidents - not everyone memorizes!
A number of years ago, I read about a study that they had done on race car drivers - you would think that everything would be a split second decision - straight!, brake!, Turn!, Car!, Accelerate etc. - turns out time slows down for experienced drivers and in their minds they have all the time in the world to make their decisions.
