MGB How do I install visor brackets on 65 MGB

I recently purchased a 1965 MGB with no sun visors. I bought a set of visors from Moss and now need help installing the brackets. I have read that if I drill holes into the windshield frame I will crack the windshield. I'm thinking I should attach the brackets with a strong epoxy adhesive. My MGB has never had visors. Anyone have any suggestions on how to install the brackets?

I think they are a waste of time if you are over 5.5 feet tall. I would not drill a early frame to add something that does not belong. But its your car and if it makes you happy then drill with care! Good luck which ever way you proceed. Bob

I'm also thinking that I will not install them now. My wife agrees with you. I saw that Moss now has a tinted slide on clip tinted visor that would be a better option. I guess someone out there will need some new visors.

Also welcome to the BCF! Modern cars have a very slanted windshield and visors really are needed. With the MGb the vertical windshield with the visor down really makes for a small slit to see thru. Good to see another early car joining the mix. Bob

And with them up or down, their a pain when you are trying to see a traffic light. Right in my line of sight. I have them because the 72 came with them, but I wish it didn't! PJ
