C'mon Trevor, you knew this thread was coming!

OK, I bought extras, here's what I've tried....
Place a piece of wood below the rear axle, greased the bump stop and the xmas tree, and placed another piece of wood atop; used C clamps to try and pinch it down.
No go.
Grind a little out of the hole of the bump stop to go over the xmas tree.
No go.
Brute force.
No go.
BFH.
No go.
Needle nosed pliers.
No go.

The only thing I haven't tried, because I don't have one, is an upside down bottle jack and force the bugger down from above....

Suggestions are appreciated, I'll try anything.
TIA.

Got'em from Moss did ya?

I kept cutting away material to make the opening funnel shaped. Then if I couldn't get it on then I cut a little more. It finally went on and has stayed in place.

It's poly. I went with poly because I've been drinking too much sweet tea recently, and the car is sagging a little.
It's on.
That was way more drama than I needed.
The opening is waaay smaller than the base of the xmas tree and had to be cut away. Why not just make them so you don't need to cut them.
One thing I did notice, is a bunch of dents in the sheet metal above it. Oops! :nonono:
I've an autocross tomorrow (supposed to rain, cool!) so I'll report if it's any better.
Cheers.

My new rubber ones from Moss popped right on with a little white lithium grease!
