wow I am a senior member with 5 stars now I gotta go for the votes anybody know ted kennedys # he seems to be able to get the votes when he needs em and no I dont want no dangling chads
I'm going to have to run out and buy myself an MG...there is way too much fun going on here...the Healey people don't seem to play as much as you do...
Also after reading this thread however...I must confess that some of you are too stressed-out...chill...and behave yourselves you'll wake the neighbors (the other boards)...too much of this is liable to spill over onto the other boards...
Happy New Year...
PS: My second favorite LGB...is a 52 MG-TD...almost bought one...even though it is tough to put a 6'2" 225 lb frame into my Healey...in a MG-TD I'd look like I was riding in Disneyland Autopia...
you might look into an mgb and since this page is about getting ratings and I see you dont have one, I will do the same as someone else has done for me(given me a rating)
Henri, you just gotta understand. Gary, Kim, Tony and I have been posting on another BBS for years, and are actually pretty good friends. I've purchased a car and a bunch of parts from Tony, the Autoist and have met Kim while she was on a teaching assignment in Indiana. I met MOWOG at the Indy British car show a couple of years back, and recently he helped a friend of mine load a MG on a trailer. I haven't met Gary, but then he is a Canuck so I have to make allowances. I'll run across him soon I'm sure. I don't think any of us are overstressed, far from it, we just like to pick on each other. And don't get us started on politics, we'll be here all night. Mostly we just agree to disagree
And a sense of humor, but then again doesn't everyone with MG's have a sense of humor? The Brits must have when they made these cars, or they were still mad about the Boston Tea Party!
STRESSED???? I NEVER GET STRESSED!!!!! Nah, we are just havin' fun back and forth!! Kim and I are actually twins, but she likes to pretend she is my mother!
But, Gerry has his tee shirt on backwards! Oh, wait..he's a Cajun!! Now, how politically incorrect is that? Here's another...Gary, the Canuck, just doesn't realize he's stressed...but he will in June when I get to Victoria!
Gerry? Cajun? Now we are getting serious. My people came from Mississippi, not Acadia;o) Did marry one, though. Guess that makes my offspring Red-asses?
