How do I cook a lobster tail?

The photo is a "lechon" - pit roasted young pig.

I think habichuelas is Mexican for green beans.
On island we use the word as generic beans.

ie: habichuelas negras = black beans
habichuelas blancas = white beans

or simple habichuelas= beans of the day

That's what I thought, Dale, until I saw the 'blancas'...went back & changed my translation...figured it must be local speak....then I saqw the line about the 'lechon'....man, you're gonna have to keep me out of trouble while I'm in your town!! hehehe

My doc keeps me on a really leash, food wise. I get one day a week "free" to indulge
in all the bad food I desire. I've been saving up a few "bad food " days for your visit.

I know a really great roadside lechonera on the way to Camuy caverns- a must-do.
About one hour from my house. Pretty drive as well.

Reading your post and this popped into my head.

Beans, beans, the magical fruit
the more you eat, the more you toot.
The more you toot, the better you feel.
So lets have beans for every meal!
