Hi guys - with Kelvin's help at Moss I've got a set of retractable seat belts to mount on the 1969 MGC. I was hoping to see some picture of how you guys owners mounted a retractable belt assembly on the wheel arch. Anyone been there, done that?

Thanks!

I forgot to ask, does your car have these bolt holes? There's one on each side. They had a plastic plug for them when not in use. PJ

Yeah, my '69 MGB has them in the same place as Paul's car.

Be careful not to mount the mounts too low....that's really a big no-no for seat belts.
When belts are worn, the shoulder belt shouldn't be at too steep of an angle "downward". Otherwise, they can cause compression injuries during a crash.

Thanks guys - found a mounting spot that both allows the factory top to go down properly and comes over the shoulder at an acceptable angle/plane.

Kelvin at Moss has been a big help too.

Pictures to follow.
