The official beer of the London Olympics has been named:

Olympic Beer

You'd have thought they could've done better. Some wonderful beer brands...

HERE

Some very apropos names, too!

Oh, and I love the message on the website:

"No trees were destroyed in the sending of this contaminate free web page. We do concede that a significant number of electrons may have been inconvenienced."

On the good side since it's Dutch beer it stands a better chance of being served cold :thirsty:

At least it's not made in China,
like our athlete's uniforms are.

Since it's Lager, then like American beer, it's pretty well tasteless and can be served cold without losing any quality.

There is a movement in the House to ask that the Olympic Committee chuck the Chinese made uniforms and purchase new ones, made in the good old USA.

I support this effort.

All flags should be to!

That's my least-favourite beer.
I've always though it has an awful smell.

They should have picked Bass.

There is no bad beer. Some is just not as good as others.

Of all the beers and with the long list of British beers, why in the world would they pick a beer from another country to represent theirs and to represent their Olympics? Notice I'm being nice and not mentioning any names, incidents or reasons. PJ

WHAT?! You mean money actually INFLUENCES such an institution as the Olympics??

I am absolutely crushed!

Why not make it Woodchuck? Although admittadly it's not really beer.
