Looking at a high of 6f today. Ovenight low was -10 without windchill. Hope the TR8 will start today. It doesn't like below zero weather. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
The "Brass Monkey`s" here in Utah are all wearing long johns, levis, flannel shirts, insulated coveralls, gloves, ski mask and ear muffs.
About 6 more weeks to go until it becomes bearable again.

I wnt running on Sunday at -20 degrees C, which is about0 degreesF. After 10kms my sweater was covered in ice crystals from the moisture in my breath, cold nose too!
Simon.
-20f at 10am with a predicted high of -7f today and on top of that it looks like it's going to be windy so the windchill factors are going to drive everything sub -40. I think I will stay inside today.
I DIDEN'T DO IT!!!!!! I haven't been to Maryland in years!!!!!hehehehe
Everyone's sick around here. Actually we have the advantage in that department. as the temps drop, certian molds and bacteria can't survive (some can survive anything). So a good cold snap helps cut down on a lot of nasties. This winter has been very mild till just recently. I think that has a lot to do with the widspread sickness.
there's also a couple of new strains of nasties hitting everywhere pretty hard. that's not helping.
Sunny, windy, 21F here right now.
oh boy predictions have been changing hourly up here in the wrong direction. Low tonight has gone from -20f to -27f and knowing this place I would not be suprised to see is below -30 tonight. High of -8f tomarrow with sunday nights low of -26. Phill is full of it.
So'd we. Didn't make it up to 60, though. In this shot out a back window, you can play "find the driveway" and "find the internet connection". The fun never ends!
Our radio stations here on the island are
issuing health safety alerts to all island
people traveling to the States. Because of
the severe cold conditions, we are being
warned to purchase gloves, scarves and pullover
hats and to wear warm coats if we are traveleing
to any of the northern States.
You good folks have really been clobbered with
cold this year.
It looks like it is only going to stay very cold, or get even worse for the next week and half!! While we southerners are complaining about the unusal cold, we only have to dress slightly warmer. It holds nothing in comparison to the freezing weather you people just to our north are experiencing. Stay warm and be well!!
