I don't know about you guys!!

6, 9, 13. -14, etc-- that ain't temperatures,
that's personal torture.

Sounds like Battered Wife Syndrome to me.
Staying where they are and putting up with
dreadful conditions and no gumption to
leave to improve their lives.

My family is from Toronto and Sudbury Canada-
I was expected to work in Sudbury......

I ain't no battered wife syndrome person...

It's going to 81* today, sunny so
far with not a cloud in the sky.

go ahead Dale, rub it in, my van groaned this am when it started.
 
Minus 1 degree F in a sunny CT. Wind chill is 15 below though with the wind! 4 inches of ice on the Lake at work.
 
Harry, I know exactly how you must be feeling.

A cold wave is passing thru here also.
I'm having to wear socks today and long pants.
Temp is only at 79* with a darned windchill
making it feel like 74*. I'm chilled to the core.

A cup of hot cocoa might just be needed.

I dunno, it was a CHILLY 50* at 5:30 this am here...boy was I stiff. It has now warmed up to a tolerable 61* AND the sun is shining!! Yesterday was miserable with the chill and the gloomy drizzle. The temp doesn't feel near as bad when the sun is shining anyway!
 
Sun out, supose to be 62 today.
 
It's up to 72* right now. Turned into a real nice day! Had do do some work near the Port of Palm Beach, but couldn't work...Customs & Immigration had it in lock down, couldn't get within blocks, Soooo, I just had to go to the nearby Tiki Bar where no one else knew what was up either, except for the bottoms!! Will have to watch the local news tonight to see what wassup wid dat!
 
positively balmy here today -1 with light snow
 
Weather man on the local tube just said we are caught in a massive polar vortex.

Last month he was saying El Nino.

Wonder what's next?
 
This side saw 72* high. Dropped like a rock after the sunset, tho.
 
Balmy 32 for a high here today. Still cold at night, but at least it's in the positives these days.
 
Yep, all that cold has moved on to my old stompin' grounds in the NE!! Anyone see the windchill factor on the top of Mt. Washington this morning?...-78*!!

Looks like a nice day so far, predicting low 80s.
So maybe I can go without the socks and long pants
today.

The Grey Ghost is in the shop for a brake inspection
until monday so no top off beach drive for us this
weekend.

57 yesterday, 55 today - going down into the 30's tonight & tomorrow!!
 
We're at 68 now and it'll drop into the 30's overnight. Next few days promise to be the coldest so far this "winter"... BAH!

Hey Doc, only 60 miles from Miami and it is 70* and ptly. cloudy as I type!
 
Yeah, yeah... When we moved, we figger'd we'd need to actually ~work~ as we established our graphics/photo business. "Blue collar" area here, so that was our decision maker.

Now it's starting to rain a bit, winds are pickin' up and the temp is dropping. Adding up all the days of "winter" we've had so-far this season it may be a two week winter, so really nothing to complain about. I'm a whimp, though, so whine I will!

...I just kilt a mosquito buzzin' around me inna garage so it ain't THAT cold. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
