How cold is it?

12 Celcius in Calgary today, hardly any snow left on the ground, highly unusual for this time of the year... But historically we always get some good dumps of snow in the spring... Close to the mountains plus a higher latitude...

Don't bother, I tried that once, all the snow melted and the cold air leaked out to be replaced by room temperature air. and the post office refused to even look for the cold air!

You have to insure the cold air before they will look for it. Need to fill out a claim form too.

Dang it has been cold in the Midwest in February this year. January was amazing, and there were more than a few days in the 50s and 60s, got the TR out a couple times with the top down, really unheard of for me in January in Lincoln NE. But it has all gone South in February, South as in the artic air is all being pulled down to visit us, single digits to below at night, teens to low twenties during the day, but feels colder because it has been windy pretty much the whole time, I often say I like the change in seasons and variety of weather we get here, but I am very sick of this, usually a couple weekends I can get out in reasonable comfort in the garage and work on the TR this time of year, but not this February (written as I sit under a blanket with the space heater running, I will go out and sweat in the garage in the summer if needed, but I do not like to be cold, had to walk to school, five miles, into the wind and uphill both ways the whole time growing up, decided I didn't like the cold then, still don't).

personally I like winter as it gets rid of all the bugs (and I don't mean vw's or bugeyes)

Woke up to 2-3 inches of snow this morning, after last week's episode melted away and things were getting better.

It is pretty, but I'm ready for spring!

I'm with you on that Mickey! I've had enough Winter. I'm ready for the fields to turn green again, short sleeve shirts, cook outs etc, etc, etc!! :highly_amused: PJ

Just went outside - looks more like 4-5 inches, and still a light snow coming down.

Just keep in mind in about a week spring training games will start to show up on radio stations across the country, (baseball for those of you who don't know), so spring and opening days aren't far away.

Oh no not Daylight Savings, I hate that crap.

Still not sure what to do with all this daylight I've saved up. With all the other ~stuff~ we've accumulated over the years, I'm running out of room.

Is there a category on ebay where I can post it?

It wouldn't surprise me. You laugh but the line with 867-5309 supposedly brought over 375K. Don't know if they paid or not.
