How big is the floor pan drain hole?

59 bugeye here. My floor pans were so rotted out that I could not see if there was any hole or rubber plug in the area above the drain culvert, which is that semi circular piece of stamped metal welded to the pan bottom (pictured). I presume there was at least a hole of some size, but what?

Can anyone without rotted floor pans say how large the hole is and if it did have a rubber plug?
