Pretty reasonable price so far though.
 
That's pretty close to what I've got near the top of my project car idea list. Take a pre-75 Midget (smog-free in CA) and graft Bugeye rear fenders onto the Midget center section, add a fiberglass bonnet and you've got a Bugeye with wind-up windows, locking doors and a trun- er, boot!
 
I know that I saw a 58,59 or 60 BE at John Felts house that had a boot. Don´t know if he still has it. I wouldn´t want one on my BE, because it would mess up the nostalgia.
 
Told you they weren't just a fad! Wind up windows and seat belts too you know. :grin:
