Hi.

I'm puzzled by the way the sun visor clips are mounted on my 1978 Midget. I am looking to replace them however I do not know the tool that is used that fits in the two small holes of the clips. Can anyone provide advice?

Thanks.

pankeyg,
Welcome to the best forum on the Net!! Bar None.

Those are pop rivets that hold the visor clips to the windscreen frame. Most folks, including me have drilled out the old ones and replaced them with suitable sheet metal screws. In Stainless of course.

Great. I'll give a go and let you know how I fare.

Be careful, when I drilled out the old ones I knicked the glass that is behind it and cracked the windshield.
