How am I going explain this to her?

I have a lady with 2 MGB's
One is a 1973 complete (a little rough around the edges)
the other is a 1968 complete

Both have the Hardtop additions

She will take $800 for the pair.

So, how am I going to explain this to my bride?

Hardtops alone are worth that, EACH (if they're factory ones)!!

I'd love to find a factory hardtop. Buy em, clean em, sell em, and by her something nice.

Remember - forgiveness is easier to get than permission

Fortunately my wife doesn't care what I buy so I don't have to explain it to her but I do understand that some wives may not be as understanding

Tony's not with us any more, but I know he'd chime in here. So I'll pass along his rule:

"He" can buy whatever he wants, as long as "She" gets equal treatment.

Fill one with roses, the other with chocolates and have them delivered on Valentines Day! Driveable gift boxes!!

We've got a similar rule around here but she gets another pet. I don't take home that many cars anymore.
