That's exactly why I recommended looking at the paint colour in the sunlight as well as in artificial light. The original colour I chose was an off shade of silver/purple to contrast with the dark purple on the lower half of the GT. When painted "in real life", it was NOTHING as I had anticipated...and John commented that perhaps the Rainbow Coallition would REALLY like my car. I chose a nice SILVER to contrast the purple.

Here's a shot of my MGB/GT V8 conversion that the paint shop in St.Louis did for me. (Same shop where Binabox is currently residing.) Note..it is silver over purple...NOT "silvery pink" over purple. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
