Houston, we have a problem

Jack, I know you have my home number, but I pmed it to you just in case you misplaced it.

Heh, I do not have your home phone, will call at shop in awile. Jumped on your auction. Yea I screwed up. Should have known better but have never had a pump problem before.

Engines weren't over forty years old before, either! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Jack,

IMHO, I would try changing to a ball rather then pulling Agatha's heart out again.

Pat

At this moment I got a ball comming from Hap and I have put the winning bid on his pump on eBay, hehe.

I will check the ball trick before I pull the engine.

When engine is out will check bearings again and such.

Next week is eye surgery so engine will remain where it is for then, but it gives me a chance to get parts together.

Just got off the phone with Hap, as always thanks Hap. Good time to talk when he is haveing his morning coffee on Sat. Would love to just follow him around for a week or so.

Yep, am all over Haps.

Hope you don't have to pull the motor Jack, and you can enjoy driving it around this summer. Has been pretty dry this summer and would have been excellent around her for dring around wiht the top down in a spridget. Rained yesterday afternoon for the 1st time in ages.

Jack you won it, I see someone took a swipe at you in the final seconds, but you still got a heck of a deal, I'm pretty sure I got your address on computer at the shop, I send it to you tommorow with a couple of the 9/16 ball bearings and you just send me a check when you get it.
I'm just glad it got into the hands of someone who can use it.

Thanks Hap. Yep that should save a bit on PayPal fees.

Appreciate so much, did send the info via eBay. Address and phone number and such.

Think I will try one of those ball bearings before I do anything else. However, I don't for some reason think that will work to resolve the problem so am comitted to pulling the engine, at my work speed should not be a big deal and I just may find something else I can/should do while it is out.
